![]() Unfortunately, the LiDE 600F is not compatible with OS 10.9. Thank you for contacting Canon product support in regards to your CanoScan LiDE 600F and your Mac. I got the following response from Canon when I asked about drivers: Considering this scanner works perfectly well otherwise, I'm a little peaved. ![]() I'm not sure if or when drivers will be available for this. There is also a "VueScan Bible" (176 pages) available from RockyNook for another $35. I think VueScan will fill my needs for years to come. I'm going to pay the $80 for VueScan Pro because it's said to be one of the most widely used scan utilities and because it works with 2,300 scanners and because I hate shortgap solutions even if they work. Or you can buy a new Canon LIDE 700F scanner for $91 from BH Photo or buy some other new scanner possibly cheaper. You have to pay $80 for the P rofessional edition with unlimited updates, OCR, raw scans, ICC profiles and IT8 calibration. It's $40 for the Standard edition with one year of updates. ![]() VueScan seems expensive but may be worth it. ![]() It seems to be a robust scanning utility with everything I normally use as a professional photographer. It works fine under OS 10.9 Mavericks but puts multiple ugly watermarks on every scanned image until you pay for it. I downloaded and tested VueScan (direct from from Hamrick) for my Canon LIDE 600F scanner. ![]()
